We're going with the name "Megagiant". Or you can refer to us as "the artists formerly known as Greater Apes, formerly known as Megagiant". If you have no idea what I'm talking about here's a brief backstory for you to not read/care about:
In 2010 or 11(??), Kelly, Nels, Austin, and Guthrie formed a band called Megagiant. They played a few shows locally and went on a short tour to Chicago and, more importantly, to Noah's Ark Waterpark in the Wisconsin Dells. Around 2 months-ish afterward, Guthrie and Austin moved away. Austin moved back a year and half-ish later. Kelly, Nels, and Austin then formed a new band called Greater Apes. They played a bunch of new songs, but still played some old Megagiant tunes. After a little consideration, they decided that the name Greater Apes wasn't so great (much less greater), so they changed their name to Megagiant. ...Did they change their name BACK to Megagiant? Are they even the same band? Are they a new band infringing upon the rights of the original Megagiant? Only time will tell, as Guthrie has yet to sue us to legally force us to change our name to Megagiant Clearwater Revisited.
